In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the smooth flow of goods through various warehouse processes. Duties:
- Safely move materials within the warehouse.
- Manage inventory control through accurate stock counting, cycle counts, and updating the warehouse management system (WMS) using RF scanners.
- Assist with order picking, packing, and shipping & receiving to ensure timely order fulfillment for customers and manufacturing needs.
- Support warehouse distribution activities by stocking shelves, organizing materials, and maintaining a clean work environment in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Handle materials with mechanical knowledge of pallet jacks, heavy lifting techniques, and construction-related equipment when necessary.
- Participate in inventory management tasks including cycle counts and stock adjustments to prevent discrepancies.
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow processes and improve overall warehouse efficiency.
